Rosaline Joyce- Lovers Soul (1987)

A 1980's street soul classic, one of my favorites from that time. Rosaline was signed to the UK Jam Today but her career was cut short with legal issues with the label. There is very little information about her on the web, but unfortunately i recall reading that she passed away recently. Dig It!!--Forgot to add that this record was produced by Master T.

Definitely my favorite release from this series, I could DJ this record alone for hours. It has the more 'Essential' breaks on this one, and my favorite tune of all time LOVE'S THEME. You Know exactly what that DJ is thinking when you hear that jam on the radio. Feel the love and boogie to this.

Man Parrish- Hip Hop, Be Bop (Don't Stop) (1982)

This 45 right here.... Just makes you wanna get the hell up and dance! The funk was definitely pouring through the walls with this one.... I even felt like doing the electric boogie, hell my neighbors probably did too. One of my favorite works in Hip-Hop, it definitely puts a smile on your face and makes you think about the time when people weren't tired of electronic sounds. Oh how time has changed.
