Kenny Burrell- 'Round Midnight (1972)
Allmusic rated this album 2 and a half stars.. Pretty sad when Non-Musician assholes criticize the greats of this world. This album is everything you might expect from Kenny, but even more. You just may be surprised....
That's awesome you and your father shared the joy of jazz. The only 'good goods' i got from my pops was an Earth, Wind & Fire record and maybe that funny side of Rudy Vallee record i'll listen to occasionally
The dopest he ever gave me was "Energy Control Center" by Lightmen Plus One. He bought it while living in Houston. It's super soulful jazz funk. It was my first post I did.
This was a record I acquired from my Dad's stacks but I haven't converted it yet. Thanks!!

DeleteI remember seeing that just recently actually. Funny how every time I see that album in my digicrates I will think of that story
